The flow of energy

I’m home…..finally…devoid of energy, I can barely carry my laptop bag. Heavy… I’m met by Reinout and Sebastian. I feel instantly better. I can breath, a brief respite…
At home….different views, different visions, disagreements follow. It’s me against everyone else, or so it seems. It’s been like this for weeks, months.
I’m tired, yet restless. Can’t work, can’t relax nor sleep. I go out in the garden to hunt for frogs. I find one, two, three… Cecile joins in the hunt. Buddy also wants to play. Before I know, I’m chasing two dogs for a ball. And suddenly life makes complete sense again…

Disagreements and different views should and must be allowed, debates are (may be) fruitful,… One do rarely grow being constantly clapped on the shoulder or scratched on the back. However, diverse life views and their manifestations in life will only function on a foundation of equal terms, equal say, equal space, mutual respect, and when springing from a humble place within.
Departing from that somewhat philosophical standpoint and in addition; we do all need a positive reassurance from our surroundings; that we do well, that we CAN, that our efforts are noticed and that we are loved just because we are the way we ARE and not just so when arbitrarily and conditionally fine during someones’ random day of humbleness.
