Shake it baby!
We got a new piece of equipment to our ever increasing heap of gadgets – a mixer. I must admit, it’s one of the better ones. One that serves a practical use beyond the realms if Internet. As with all gadgets Reinout brings into the house, he test them to their maximum limits. All functions must be explored, trimmed and optimized. It took about 2 hours before he was making the most wonderful shakes. I am not complaining! Then he decided to mix together my Swedish rice pudding, that is a job that preferably should be done manually with a lot of love and care. I already knew what the result would be but I didn’t want to spoil his good mood. He called me in to check if he had all the right ingredients. I gave an affirmative and he hit the button. You could see the curiosity and expectations gleaming in his eyes. He was convinced this was going to be a sure hit. 30 seconds later we were enjoying pureed rice pudding. The taste was great, but honestly it felt more like a glorified milk shake.
But he hasn’t given up yet, and this morning he tried a new recipe, this time made of strawberries, banana, raspberries, 2 kiwis and a bit of juice. The result can be seen below. And I can assure you the taste is nothing short of delicious!
