Picture not so perfect
WOW! Sebastian was an angel last night sleeping for 6 hours. I couldn’t believe it and kept waking up listening for minutes until I heard a sign that he was still alive and breathing. But my peace was short lived as Victoria woke me up in the middle of the night complaining that she couldn’t sleep. Victoria has come down with a terrible cold, and today she’s in bed resting apart from a whole load of homework that we have given her. Discipline over comfort!
Waking up early, I headed for the gym at 7.30. I was practically the only one there, and I worked out my flabby body for a good hour on the cross trainer, as well as some weights for muscle toning. As I stepped out of the gym an hour later, it was with light steps I headed home. The sun was shining and the birds were flocking on the canal as a compassionate soul were feeding them. Spring is finally returning to our northern hemisphere!
After another feeding I jumped into the shower to let the steamy water cleanse my body and soul to prepare me for another hectic day. I was going through my appointments and my action list as Reinout barged in with a camera. Oh no, not another one of those nude shower pictures. I always manage to come out with a terrible grin on my face, often slightly obscured by a hand as to keep out the family paparazzi. Too late though. The picture was already downloaded and sent to his computer when I opened my laptop. It’s a full frontal, and in fact I’m not even so bothered about the face expression as I zoomed in on the more vital parts. But taking it in my stride the picture has provided me with additional and much needed motivation to continue my quest for getting back in shape. So thank you Reinout! Although you don’t know it yet, you’ve just done me a great favour!
