Moment of the day

I am looking at my beautiful son, who is completely in awe of his dummy. He picks it up, let it dangle on his little fingers and then let it fall, only to pick it up again to start all over again. The fascination for objects is tremendous. And it slows me down. I halt my email and just sit there, mesmerized at my son’s own private moment, which somehow becomes mine. This is the moment, the moment of the day….
