Merry Christmas!

I woke up an hour ago! It’s the first time in I don’t know how many years that I slept for 12 hours. An amazing luxury for a working mum. Yesterday evening was beautiful. Really  peaceful and quiet Christmas eve celebration, just as it should be. A lot of cooking tends to stress me out, but not this time. As the turkey was baking in the oven, we all joined on the couch to watch Oliver Twist. Then it was time to devour the Christmas food, which lasted for a good 2 hours including gifts exchange. Victoria was shuttling back and forward between the Christmas tree and the gift recipient. The Christmas tree looks truly naked now that all the presents are gone.
