Lack of time
For the first time since I started my blog, I didn’t write one single word yesterday. I was convinced I would go through withdrawal symptoms and painful convulsions as a result, but luckily they never appeared. The reason for not blogging, was simple – time deficiency. Or a better description would be a lack of priority. Instead I enjoyed the morning in bed with coffee and breakfast, reading my new book, the Reapers by John Connolly, and slowly getting ready for a walk in town, where Reinout and I had lunch. We bought several films for a cosy evening and I got myself a pair of gloves as it’s freezing cold here. Later in the evening we went for a dinner at the local Indonesian restaurant. It was excellent food, and perhaps more importantly a very good conversation. One of those conversations, that would have looked completely differently 6 months ago, but felt so good to have now.
When we came home later we watched two DVD’s consecutively and I wasn’t in bed until 4 am. Those Saturday’s, mundane as they may seem, are worth their weight in gold.
Waking up today, to another bright and sunny morning, I feel excellent. Time for a shower….
