Holiday is FINALLY booked…but are we going?

And as I finally thought we were all set for a holiday on Gran Canaria, an Icelandic volcano decides to erupt. WTF!! How much bad luck can you have? I’ve been working on leaving this country for the past 2 weeks and when we finally book our holiday last night, it looks like it’s in great danger of being jeopardized. Ah well, one way or another we will find a solution. If not it’s going to have to revert to plan B; driving down to South of France.

I was going to report however on the hotel we booked, Hotel Lopesan a close to 5 star hotel, Spa and Casino! Pure luxury wrapped up on acres of parkland, swimming pools and luxurious surroundings. I just hope the air traffic will be reinstated before Saturday…
