From fashionista to bum and back again

For the last 3 months I have been completely uninterested in my appearance. I have tried to stay “fashionable” but it’s easier said than done with a growing belly. The first months worked reasonably well, although I was suffering from acne due to the hormones. This I managed to get under control with bi-weekly microdermabrasions. But getting along with my ever changing body was something else. Our summer holiday in France started off with a major shopping spree. Fortunately I managed to find a number of different silk dresses in different colours all with an A-line or empire line which are perfect maternity wear without making you look like a house. In fact they managed to hide my growing bulge and I still felt sexy with killer heels. But after the 5th month I completely lost interest. It’s been a down hill spiral ever since and now my favourite wear is a pair of sweats and a t-shirt! I’ve gone from a reasonably proud fashionista to a bum! Until this evening…

I felt an incredible urge to start searching through the fashion sites.  This is good news, the last months is probably just a temporary state of confusion. I won’t be stuck in bum-hood!
Whilst trawling through the sites I found these great pictures of Diance Kruger in Christian Dior, who always manage to look fantastic. It inspired me to find some look-a-like dresses hidden deep in my wardrobe. Can’t wait to wear them again!
