Christmas shopping spree

It was a super busy day yesterday, when I kicked off my Christmas shopping. The recession was nowhere to be found, when people were making a dash for their last Christmas presentents. The nice thing about sales in Holland is that it start rather early, just after Sinter Klaas, so it’s perfect to do the Christmas shopping just a few days before. Won’t disclose what I got for the family yet, but when we came home, we had about 10 bags loaded. We also managed to find some really neat furniture for the baby room, which will be delivered in the coming days.

As for me I can’t enjoy the sale that much as nothing fits anyway. But I decided to seriously break my shopping ban and bought two pairs of shoes. So shoes and handbags and a possible coat from Etro which I have my eyes on will be on my own personal shopping list.

Well got to get back to work. Today we have the traditional Christmas clean and I am clearing out all my cupboards, whilst Caroline is doing a great job doing all the heavy cleaning from top to bottom.
