Celebrating Victoria’s birthday

I haven’t been blogging for days now, but as work, life and getting ill again (the third time in as many weeks!!) took over, there was little energy left. I’ve come down with something of a stomach bug (I suspect something similar Sebastian just came out of). So once again, I’m in bed working. I didn’t sleep much last night either as a result, falling a sleep sometime after 3 am.

Yesterday was Victoria’s birthday though, and stuffing myself with Lopramide to fight the volitile bowel movements, I managed to sustain a couple of drinks at the winebar and dinner at our local Mexican restaurant where we also opened the presents.

Victoria got loads of clothes….jeans, T-shirts, a bag and a sports jacket, all from Vingino, the brand du jour for tweeners. She also got a pink toilet bag which contained bath pearls, a sleeping mask (also in pink of course) and the perfume Parisienne from YSL.

Further than that, bangles, lip gloss, a really nice beauty book for teens by MJ (who was also with us), leggings and all kinds of other smaller gifts. I think she was really happy with her presents and must have had a blast getting ready for school this morning.

Me on the other side, I’m now in bed with my cup of coffee, about to start working on OnlineSalsa.com which although a month a way from our real launch as we are working on a new release, is already picking up in traffic and a friendly buzz going around on twitter and facebook. Will keep you posted…
