Valentines doesn’t quite hit home
I’m really not a Valentine fan. Along with the naff gifts and cards proclaiming eternal love, one has to find a suitable restaurant only to be surrounded by other couples in an over-crowded space, most likely sharing the same sentiments. Thank God I ended up with a 24 hour stomach bug and spent the day [...]
“You know I hate you as much as I love you”
I’m so happy, diet is finally working! I’m down almost 2 kg’s and I can get into my semi-skinny jeans again. But no gain without pain, and the dark side is that I am more moody than ever. Yes, what to expect being limited to a 1000 kcal a day. I almost cancelled our forthcoming [...]
Is it really too much to ask for a clean penis?
When I started this blog, I wanted it to be an outlet for whatever popped up in my mind. It was my own little experiment. Could I really write about everything openly and honestly online? The first part was rather easy. Yes, you can write about anything. And from my own experience, the bolder you [...]

WTF happened?
I’m completely exhausted, walking home in anger after a disrupted dinner. I was suppose to have an evening out with my husband but something went wrong (someone was a tad too drunk #@$%^&*!) and I’m now at home, on my own in bed. WTF happened? Perhaps solitude is the only viable option?

Happy Surprises
Sometimes life can be full of small, yet happy surprises. Gift wrapped in something as plain and common as a facebook status update. Yet, they manage to put a smile on your face and makes all the concerns and worries go away, obliterated by a warmth and comforting feeling. Pictures of a good friend of [...]

The Ex and the Valentino
I always dreamed of a Valentino dress. It’s the Ferrari of fashion (not to mention the same colour!), which would make any girl, woman and lady quiver with delight. It’s what Sharon Stone wore in Basic Instinct (or so I imagine), and it’s what Jackie O would have worn if Valentino would have started his [...]

The reminiscence of an affair
The first time I came across an album of Putumayo was in a small lunch cafe on a side street off the Haarlem market square. It was one of those cafes that takes great pride in their organic coffee, vitamin infused smoothies and vegetarian sandwiches. Each time I walked through the door to order a [...]

On the topic of fidelity…
It’s been a strange week in retrospect. I met some very interesting people, engaged in mind challenging discussions, were given some sever reprimands and got the brunt of some people’s emotional reactions. Knowing it would be foolish to let these events pass into obscurity, I’ve taken some time to think things through. One particular discussion [...]

Don’t EVER forget your wedding anniversary!
There was an email that stood out above all other emails from lat night. It simply read: “It was our wedding anniversary yesterday.” I stood there in disbelief having missed one of the most crucial days of our entire joint life. If you feel gutted, then this is the moment. I ran downstairs to apologise, [...]

Where is Mr. Duck?
My husband has this thing going with his new iPhone…he’s filming everything – at any place and any time. Like a Japaneese tourist (albeit having substituted the handheld camera with a sleeker looking phone come video device), he readily records whatever comes his way. In most cases Sebastian in action or I coming out of [...]
