A Swedish surprise

Posted by: fracas on November 5 @ 5:51 pm

As I was waiting for my salsa teacher Sederick to arrive (he was seriously late…tisk, tisk!), Reinout came walking in unexpectedly through the door. His meeting was cancelled and instead decided to make an unannounced stop at IKEA. To my pleasant surprise, he’d been raiding the IKEA food department for some goodies….Glogg (Swedish mulled wine), Kalles Kaviar (not to be confused with the Russian equivalent), Pepparkakor (gingerbread), meatballs and lingon sylt (Swedish cranberry sauce). It really made my day….that and the fact that I’ve greatly improved my salsa and got the green light to go to advanced level. WHOOHOO!

Guess what we are having for dinner tonight?
