6 weeks planning on the cross trainer
This morning as I was doing my usual 35 minutes on the cross-trainer I went through my schedule for the coming weeks. Sometimes its good to get an overview when you can’t distinguish the trees from the forest.
Right now is like a count down. Every week has different goals and priorities that should be achieved and accomplished. This week is one of preparations for the new site of OnlineSalsa.com. On Friday we start testing it all, and before then all content from the previous site has to be migrated, and all new content has to be proofed and uploaded. On Sunday we have another shooting for OnlineSalsaTV. All the episodes needs to be read and approved this week too.
Next week starts the testing and final content delivery, planning for launch etc. Press release needs to be written, and newsletter prepared. February 1 we go live. That same very week I will have a gruelling 5 days intensive course of salsa on1 to take me to a really advanced level (I am taking lessons on advanced level but I want to go beyond this). In the afternoon I will be dancing 4 hours each day with Sederick. In the morning a lot of work for OnlineSalsa, and so the evenings too.
That very weekend is the Amsterdam Salsa Festival. I should be there an network so things to prepare.
The week after is that of Casual Connect in Hamburg, where the Casual Gaming Industry meets up. I will be there with Reinout to network and do business for Ex Machina.
The following two weeks will most likely be busy too, due to a backlog of stuff to attend to. That leaves March 1 as the ultimate date. Why?
➢ site will be live
➢ backlog will be gone
➢ I will be a truly advanced salsa dancer
➢ Hopefully that extra kilo that won’t go away will be a memory of the past (pathetic to mention, but yes!)
➢ And most importantly of all, I will have more time for my family. After this, I shall make a point of planning a holiday. Maybe for Easter…
Tired but also very happy! Seeing results for something
you work so hard for is great!
